Ginkgo is probably the best, and best studied, herb for dementia and

Alzheimer’s. This new meta-analysis adds to that foundation.

The new meta-analysis of 4 studies of ginkgo included 1,598 people with mild

dementia. The dose of Ginkgo biloba extract was 240mg a day, and the studies

lasted 22-24 weeks. The ginkgo significantly improved scores of memory,

cognitive performance, neuropsychiatric inventory, activities of daily life and

global assessment. And ginkgo did all of this safely.
