This massive study of 12,666 women who were 65 or older and 8,776 men who
were 60 or older found that taking a multivitamin slowed cognitive aging by about
60%, which translated to about 1.8 years over the 3 year study.
It found that, compared to a placebo, taking a multivitamin improved memory by
the equivalent of 3.1 years.
The study also found that taking a multivitamin for 2 years can slow biological
aging by a significant 10-20%.
